Lake Claiborne

Lake Claiborne is only a stone's throw from the ranch and has a land area of 6,500 acres with 40 miles of shoreline and an average depth of 18 feet. It is spring-fed and clear all year, and is one of the best bass-fishing lakes anywhere. White perch and sun-fish are also in abundance. Lake Claiborne is ideal for water-skiing and jet-skis. There are several marinas near the ranch including Parden's Paradise and Pleasure Point; there are also several public boat launches nearby. Bring your own equipment during your stay at the ranch and enjoy Lake Claiborne.

There are five other lakes near the ranch: Like Bisteneau, Lake D'Arbonne, Black Lake, Lake Earling and Corney Lake. Bass Tournaments are held on a regular basis at all of these lakes including Lake Claiborne. You may get a schedule of the tournaments at the ranch.

Private Ponds

The ranch has one of the best fishing ponds to be found anywhere. Larger than most ponds, it is fully stocked with bass and bream. We have a great place to clean your fish. Then, fry them and serve them for dinner!
